Netflix & Chill: Acceptable Date or Not?

Wed., Sept. 30th @ 10 PM Eastern

Is catching a movie at his crib an acceptable first or second date?

Stream the show here!

So, you meet this new girl. She appears to be all that and a bag of chips. What do you do for a first date? How about inviting her over to your place to watch Netflix and chill?

Nothing like take out food and a movie to get to know each other on Date One, right? Wrong. If this is your idea of a date with someone you’re not in a relationship with then you need a hug. However, the Millennials firmly believe that this is an acceptable form of dating.

Why do you think that is? Is it because it’s dirt cheap? Is it because it puts her just a few yards from his bedroom? What does one even wear for a Netflix & Chill date? Let’s call it what it is: a booty call with a movie playing in the background.

We’ll discuss that, Zone Coverage, and more on tonight’s Talk 2 Q Radio Show. “No experts. Just opinions.”

5 Things Men & Women Need to Stop Doing

5 things for each gender that drives people nuts (in a bad way)!

Stream the show here!

Men have their complaints.  Women have their complaints.  There’s something that each of us do that frustrates the other gender.  Why can’t we both get on the same page?  Why do we accept the notion that “men will be men” and “women will be women” instead of resolving the problems?

Tonight, we will lay out some of the things that each gender does to piss the other one off.  Maybe if I can throw out five things for both men and women then we all can see how unnecessarily we raise stress levels.

These things, Zone Coverage and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  “No experts.  Just opinions.”  Brought to you by TruthDevour and Crystal Hickerson.

The Importance of Being #Sexy

Stream the show here!

How much does a person’s look/attitude play a role in a successful relationship?

Relationships are comprised of so many things.  There’s really not one quality that makes for a good relationship more than another.  Attraction is a key component in relationships.  If you’re not attracted to the person then there’s hardly a chance at a long-term future with that person.  It doesn’t mean that they have to be sexy to everyone.  Just sexy to you.

Having said that, how important is “being sexy” to you?  Do you feel as if you should feel sexy most or all of the time or just in certain scenarios?  How often should a potential other do it?  Are you okay with lounging clothes during the week as long as they dress up on the weekend?  Or do you need that constant stimulation?  How much does attitude play a role in it?

All of these things, Zone Coverage and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  “No experts.  Just opinions.”

I Cheated to Save Our Marriage!

Tue., Aug. 25th at 10 PM ET
Stream the show here!
You’ve been married for 8 years.  You have a 6 year old son and a 2 year old daughter.  You would do anything to protect your wife and kids.  However, your wife hasn’t been the same since she had your son.  The intimacy is gone and the sex is not passionate.  You’ve talked to her, but to no avail.  She appears to have lost her drive for sex.
You’re forced to make a decision: do I stay in a passion-less marriage or do I divorce my wife and essentially walk away from my kids?
What if I told you that there’s a 3rd option?  Well, according to a FB friend of mine, cheating saved his marriage. He decided to get his sex outside of the home and that satisfied him enough to where he didn’t divorce his wife and leave the kids.
He claims that cheating saved his marriage.  Had he not gotten sex somewhere else then he would have divorce his wife.  Can cheating save marriages?
The Show Legends and I will discuss it on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show.  “No experts.  Just opinions.”

What If Your Significant Other Is "Wack"?

Tuesday, August 4th at 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here!

What do you do when your mate humiliates you? I don’t mean intentionally. I mean from just being lame. He/She wants to be one of the cool kids, but just isn’t. For example, think about how Nicki Minaj feels right now. She’s at the top of her game. No other woman is competing with her in the game of rap. Her man, Meek Mill, got owned by Drake in a battle rap. Now her man is the subject of hundreds of humiliating memes circling the web.
How do you handle when your mate is Meek Mill? Do you try to uplift and support them? Do you bail on the relationship because you can’t stand to deal with your friends making fun of you?

I’ll ask my Show Legends what a person should do when your mate makes you face palm more than smile.

Your Mouth Makes You Ugly, Part I

Stream the show here

** UPDATE **

This show eventually turned into a heated discussion on Sandra Bland and police brutality/killings.  Two rival callers (from some other show) had it out with each other (and Ray).  Some great points were made as the phone lines lit up to talk about “black responsibility.”

There’s nothing more irritating than someone who can’t control their mouth. Whether it’s a nasty attitude, taking opportunities to hate on someone, or just plain being disrespectful, it makes you just want blow a gasket. Why is it that some people don’t realize that their mouth makes them ugly?

The things some people say have consequences yet they don’t realize it. Or they realize it and just don’t care. An uncontrolled mouth can cost a person their job, their mate, their friends/family, and a hospital bill if they pop off to the “wrong one.”

Why do we allow ourselves to get emotional to the point of stupidity and regret? Society also promotes having your tongue throw you in jail with reality TV and YouTube videos of mindless confrontations.

Tonight, the Show Legends and I will talk about how the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body.

Are We Just Social Media Copycats?

Stream the show here

Social media makes us stupid. I can’t put it any more clearly than that. Sure, it’s entertaining to those who already have a foundation in common sense, but let’s face it, that’s a minority.

So, what happens when you mix social media channels with people who do not have common sense? Crazy stunts that result in serious injuries if not death, mixed signals in relationships, political statements, and a community full of trolls and douches for lack of better terms.

On tonight’s show, we’ll discuss all three of these types of people and some examples of how they’re making America a worse place to live.
